Julie Dubick has had a long and illustrious career in law, government, and philanthropy.
She began her career as a trial attorney at the United States Department of Justice and was promoted to Assistant Director and General Counsel of the United States Marshals Service. At the time, she was the highest-ranking women in federal law enforcement.
She moved to San Diego in 1981 and became a partner at the firm Seltzer, Caplan, McMahon and Vitek. After that, she served as Director of Policy under Mayor Jerry Sanders and was then promoted to Chief of Staff. She served as a partner in the HG Consulting firm, conducting strategic planning, policy development, and advocacy. She serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at California Western School of Law. She is also a founding member and serves on the Board of Directors for Endeavor Bank.
Julie has provided leadership to a wide variety of civic endeavors, including serving as a founding member and past President of the San Diego Women’s Foundation, Board Chair of the Monarch School, founding member of San Diego Women Give, Audit and Governing chair of The California Women’s Foundation, CEO of the Balboa Park Centennial Committee, co-chair of Senator Feinstein Judicial Selection Committee, Scripps Foundation Board, among many others.
Julie and her husband Mitch have three children.
